About Us

IncuSublime is an effective altruist wellness app studio founded by two Duke University students (incorporated as a public benefit corporation). We saw a problem in today’s society where people are feeling less connected with others and would like to find better ways to develop deeper social connections and live more healthfully. Meanwhile, there are many charitable causes that need more support from society at large, while many charitable people couldn’t find the time or the resources to actually help them.

We make wellness softwares that support charitable causes. Our goal is to empower our users to form nurturing habits, mindsets and relationships with the world and themselves. To do so, our for-charity wellness apps facilitate and translate our users’ self-improvement efforts into instant positive social impact. True wellness lies in both supporting the “I” and supporting the “we”. We believe when people integrate their ethical values into their actions, they become highly creative and grow quickly towards a direction they love.

We developed ZenFoci, a webapp + Chrome Extension, that helps people focus through mutual support, distracting website intervention mechanisms, and focus-building succinct meditation exercises. ZenFoci generates donation revenue in real-time and we aim to gradually increase ZenFoci’s donation amount to 50% of our profits, while balancing between pro-charity efforts and building a high-value app for our users. We also created this blog to provide authentic insights from real people that help everyone learn more about mental focus and our donation efforts. We hope ZenFoci’s functionalities and the insights provided here will assist in helping people develop their focus better, while finding meaning in mutual support and hardwork.

IncuSublime’s values are: Compassion, Courage, Open-mindedness, Prudence and Truthfulness. Through brainstorming ideas, researching their practicality, develping pro-charity revenue models based on real-world data, and building apps through an efficient process, we create high value apps that help users develop their wellness and create high positive social impact. Thus, we believe all these five values lead to our startup’s ability to sustainably thrive and output positive social impacts.

We’re also looking for other like-minded entrepreneurs and talents to discuss how to build pro-social apps. If you’re interested in talking with us, please contact us via publish@zenfoci.com.

You can add the charities you’d like us to support our apps here, and we’ll research and figure out how to support them through our apps. Thank you very much!
